Aims of Our Nursery School

This non-denominational Nursery School aims to provide a lively, happy and stimulating environment in which each child may develop to her/his full potential in the following ways :-

 

  • to support and extend the learning process begun in the home, through the provision of a stimulating, well-resourced, well-organised environment, which enables each child to develop physically, socially, linguistically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

 

  • to provide a secure, caring environment in which self-esteem, self-confidence, self-expression, independence and self-discipline can be fostered.

 

  • to provide a sound basis for life-long learning through the provision of high quality learning experiences.

 

  •  to provide a well qualified staff, who maintain their professional expertise through relevant staff development.

 

  • to provide a broad and balanced, enquiry based, curriculum.

 

  • to work towards the Early Learning Goals of the Foundation Stage.

 

  • to make learning 'irresistible'.

 

  • to offer opportunities for first hand discovery and investigation of the world around.

 

  • to meet the individual needs of pupils, irrespective of gender, race, cultural background or special need.

 

  • to encourage positive attitudes and values and the tolerance of differences.

Our Mission Statement

It is our belief that all children have an innate desire to learn and that it is our responsibility as educators to nurture this desire for learning in an environment that provides rich opportunities for adults and children to learn together.

Benchmarking and Finance

Ashmore Park Nursery School does not employ any staff that are paid a salary of over £100,000. Our financial benchmarking information can be found by clicking the link below.

Our School Hours

Nursery schools have the same school terms as other schools maintained by the City of Wolverhampton Council, but most are run on a part-time basis.

There are two sessions each day:

Morning Session: 

8:45am - 11.45am 

12:30pm - 3:30pm 

Afternoon Session:
